Poly Spill Containment Pallet

Poly spill containment pallet is suitable for the outside chemical storage and containment of four 220 Litre (50 gallons) drums. The plastic pallet is manufactured from tough and durable virgin polyethylene which is resistant to most chemicals and is suitable for the storage of oil and sulfuric acid and other types of chemical liquid. It is designed to catch and contain any drips, leaks or spills in the event of chemical spillage and complies fully with the Oil Storage Regulations 2001.

This range of Drum Spill Pallets is consisted of different sizes and capacities and are specifically designed for the safe storage of oils and chemicals and will contain any spills and leaks from the drums to avoid potential damage to the workers and environment. These spill pallets are fully compliant to the oil storage regulations in US and Europe.

The requirements for spill pallet is that it should be able to hold either 25% of the combined storage capacity or 110% of the largest container, whichever is the greater. Operators should also reference Environment Agency publication PPG26.

Poly spill containment pallet is a legal and necessary requirement if you are storing either fuel, oil or chemical liquid in drums, cans or IBC’s. The regulations apply to all types of fuel, oil and chemical liquid including; petrol, diesel, fuel oil, lubricating oil, biofuel, vegetable oil, kerosene and sulfuric acid etc. Secondary containment is required on any oil storage exceeding 200L capacity meaning even if you only store 1 drum of oil you still need a spill pallet if it exceeds 200L
